Why the body is the key

Deep-seated patterns—especially those stemming from early experiences or trauma—don’t reside in the mind. They live in the body. In the nervous system, to be exact. In the reactions that arise faster than any thought.

Understanding alone is therefore not enough. You can be aware of your patterns and still find yourself falling back into them time and again. This isn’t a failure—it’s your nervous system, which was shaped long ago.

In my work, we go where change truly begins: at the level of the nervous system and somatic perception. Gently, safely, and entirely at your own pace.

What "trauma-informed" means

Trauma isn’t just about major events. Trauma occurs when something was too much, too fast, or too sudden—especially when there was no one there to hold us.

Attachment and developmental trauma, in particular, are more common than we think. The effects of these early experiences often manifest as chronic exhaustion, hypervigilance, feelings of numbness or disconnection, a tendency to become overwhelmed quickly, intense irritability, and the feeling of never truly being present — a generally dysregulated nervous system.

That is exactly where we begin.

I’ll guide you personally and individually — online, in a safe space that’s all yours.

You can book individual sessions with me, or you can opt from the start for longer-term support spanning several weeks or months. Each session provides space for whatever is coming up for you at the moment, without pressure and without a set agenda.

My packages are meant to provide guidance, not to box you in. The issues we carry in life are rarely neatly compartmentalized—and in our work, I always address whatever comes up. The nervous system serves as a common thread throughout every package, because it is the place where everything is imprinted and where true change begins.

This journey is about reconnecting with yourself. It’s about living YOURSELF again. Not just the woman you once were, not just the mother you are today – but you as a whole person, with all your inner parts. It’s about feeling what you truly need – and being able to live and communicate it.

These deep-seated patterns are stored in the body, not in the mind. In this process, we go where these patterns truly reside – gently, at your own pace – and create new & safe experiences that transform your system from within.

My Story

For a long time, I thought my overactive nervous system was just part of who I am – something I’d have to learn to live with. When I became a mom, my biggest challenge began.

After years of inner work and periods of talk therapy, I understood my patterns very well—rationally.

But my nervous system was chronically dysregulated, and understanding alone barely changed anything in my daily life.

Then I discovered trauma-sensitive, somatic work.

This was the puzzle piece that was missing for me.

Today, I have a larger window of tolerance than ever before. More patience. More clarity. More connection to myself. I know myself and my different inner parts better than ever before. When I feel out of balance, I find my way back to my center much more quickly. I’m not “fully healed” (are we ever? I doubt it.) – but I’ve learned to hold myself. And that makes a huge difference.

I have lived with cystic fibrosis since birth. This experience – of feeling at home in the body, or not – has deeply connected me to these issues and led me to this work.

About Me

My work is shaped by my own lived experience of a chronically dysregulated nervous system – and the long journey back to myself. Motherhood brought me face to face with these topics in the deepest way.

I am a trained trauma-informed practitioner (Somatic Practitioner Training “The Sovereign Path”) and certified life coach (Life Trust Coaching, Homodea/Veit Lindau).

My background as a creative entrepreneur – content creator, web designer, and mentor for autobiographical writing – flows into my work, especially through journaling and writing as tools for self-reflection.

I am also the author of three autobiographical novels.
